Inferno Protocol Community Links

Where to talk, report, and watch — without confusing this fan wiki for the studio.

Community Links

Early Access lives or dies on whether anyone tells Tektonic that a floor vanished or a walkie failed. The studio said so in the Steam FAQ: reach them on discussions, Discord, or email, the same way people did during the demo. This page is the directory, plus etiquette so you do not dump a six-stack argument into a bug thread.

The parent links hub has the same official URLs in shorter form. Gameplay help stays on this wiki: getting started, co-op, patch notes.

Steam

The store page is the source of truth for price, requirements, and news. The community hub holds reviews and the discussion boards. Launch-week threads already cover Smart App Control 0x11C7, lobby boots, and falling through floors. Search before you post. If you are reporting a new fall-through, include biome (Junkyard / Jungle / Swamp), interior or outdoor, player count, and whether anyone was on a ladder. That is the bug class the Better Building patch already tried to kill.

Reviews are Mixed at the sample we saw. Read them as Early Access snapshots, not as 1.0 verdicts. If you write one, say whether you played the Next Fest demo, how many hours, and whether you hosted or joined. Saying multiplayer needs QoL is more useful than calling the maze bad.

Discord and voice

The Steam page listed discord.gg/sCy6WDmcBZ. Older Steam news used discord.gg/3EhwzJg9ub. Invites rot. If one 404s, believe the store page. Discord is for LFG, patch chatter, and shorter bug reports. It is not a replacement for in-game walkie-talkies. In the maze, proximity voice is heard by enemies; in Discord, only your friends hear you, which is why some squads run Discord for planning and walkie for a rat grab. The co-op guide explains the split.

Do not paste unlabeled injector locations in public channels if you want them to stay mysterious. Do paste crash logs in the channel the mods designate.

Video and social

Press coverage exists in English and Japanese; it is secondary to Steam news. If a journalist still says Q1 2026, they are quoting the teaser window. Early Access began 28 August 2026.

Email and studio site

tektonicinteractive.com is the official site. Steam lists it as the support URL. Use it for studio-facing contact when discussions are the wrong temperature. This wiki does not publish a personal email for the developers beyond what Steam already shows.

This fan site is English plus French, German, and Spanish. Steam also ships Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Korean, and Russian. We are not those localizations. Legal pages for the wiki remain English-only at Terms, Privacy, and Cookies.

If you want to help the wiki, the useful work is verifying a patch note against the live build, not copying Reddit loadouts. Point people at updates when a layer ships. Point them at tools when the problem is a GPU. Point them at Steam when the problem is a refund.

What to post, and what not to

A useful bug report names the layer (Junkyard, Jungle, Swamp), whether you were inside a day-occupied interior, player count, host or joiner, and whether proximity voice or a walkie was open. Attach a screenshot of the graphics preset from settings if it is a white-out or hitch. Do not attach a full crash dump to a fan wiki; we cannot ingest it. Do not report maze movement as a bug — that is the product. Do report a notebook that does not sync, a nameplate that vanished, or a trap that fired on a climbing teammate after the bear-trap patch claimed it would not.

LFG posts belong on Discord or Steam, with a time zone and a rule about mics. Send new teammates getting started and co-op before you drop into Jungle. If you are arguing about whether a serum is S tier, link the injector ranking and the live patch date, not a month-old clip. Community is how Early Access is supposed to work. Treat the developers like people who already rebuilt cooking to save netcode, not like a vending machine for Winter.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Inferno Protocol survivors.

Where should I report Inferno Protocol bugs?

Steam discussions or the official Discord, with biome, player count, and reproduction steps. Tektonic asked for those channels in the Early Access FAQ.

Is there a public Trello?

Not one we can certify. Use Steam news and the roadmap page. If the studio publishes a board later, it will be linked here.

Can I LFG on this wiki?

No player database. Use Steam or Discord. Then send your squad the co-op guide before you enable proximity voice.

Which YouTube videos are official?

The announcement teaser and demo trailer from the Inferno Protocol / Tektonic channels. IDs are on the home page and getting started.
